One of my goals has been to create a webcomic. And guess what? It’s here!

It’s called the Hard Shell and you can find it right here!! But until tomorrow there’s only sneak peaks available.

A new strip will be added on Tuesdays, which I think is a good day for comics.

I’ll also be keeping everyone posted about a giveaway that’ll be coming up fairly soon.

I spent my lunch hour, very frustrated, on hold waiting for the IT department at my shiny new grad school to pick up. No one ever did and I finally had to hang up, because, well, I was at work. I wrote an annoyed email pretty much begging for help. “Please! Let me login and pay my tuition!”. I guess I’m still secretly afraid they’re going to kick me out once they find out the truth about me. (I’m not sure what the truth is).

I comic-ed about it. I’ve been trying to do a comic a day about my life or anything on my mind and I’ve been wanting to share them but was way too lazy to scan them until today. I’ll just share a few today though. Beginning with today’s…

And just one more from this weekend, after Kaitlin got hitched…

Me and the bride!

It was a really lovely wedding and Kaitlin looked like a saucy pinup bride. Plus, I got to change into boots at the end and that was a plus!

I really need to do some photographing for Etsy but I just feel so unmotivated. I think that is the hardest part of it for me because I am just never pleased with the way my pictures turn out. I wish I had enough money to hire a professional but alas and whatnot! Anyways, I have some new fun stuff to put up so I really need to get my butt in gear. And OOh! A new vintage shop opened in Davis Square AND I finally found out the hours of Comicazi, so I’ll be going on Wednesday to check out the $1/comic section. I love bargains.

G’nighty!

and it’s so beautiful out! I had to run to the post office this morning to send off two new orders (one is the custom order!). I was just such a happy camper walking along in the sunshine. I took off my coat and got a strawberry doughnut on the way. Other than the post office, I had a mission to find appropriate silver shoes to wear to Kaitlin’s wedding. The original ones are just KILLING my feet, but I’m a shoe wuss anyways. I like my feet to be warm and comfortable. I went to a couple thrift stores and found really cute, simple silver flats and “redecorated” them with a rhinestone necklace I cut up.

These are the new and original shoes side by side.

Yay! Comfort and class (I hope!).

My head’s all stuck on clothes right now so here’s my outfit. Sorry I keep wearing the same sweater when I take photos for readers!

I’m getting so much better using my self timer! The last photo I tried to make a bit fashiony. And OH! My awesome newly thrifted handbag and ring, current favorites.

It’s a vintage Dooney and Burke bag. The old ones are great but I’m not into their modern designs.

I guess I have a lot of news. I was making an ID for my grad school but somehow it didn’t work and I’m already feeling like a grad school dropout! Just kidding Dad.

BOUGHT ON SALE: The Best American Series 2006 comics! It’s an awesome book that’s so inspiring because it has a huge collection of artists with unique styles. The comic book place in Harvard Square was having a 30% off sale because of the store’s 35th birthday. It’s a great shop, I just can’t remember the name.

So right now I’m just hanging out in the sunshine with my window open. The landlord sent us a lease to renew and I got all sad when I realized I wouldn’t be re-signing with Kim and Colin.

That’s the news.
